Emily Anne Schneider and Colton Andrew Fenton were married Aug. 26, 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis.

Emily is the daughter of Stuart and Debbie Schneider of Chesterfield, and the granddaughter of Leo and Ethel Newman, and Harold and Harriet Schneider, all of St. Louis. 

Colton is the son of Mark and Sherry Fenton of Terre Haute, Ind., and the grandson of Charles and Patricia Myers of Terre Haute.

The bride’s matron of honor was her sister Jessica Schwartzman, and her maid of honor was her sister Abby Schneider. Bridesmaids were friends Shelby Akos, Emily Bornstein and Haley Ennis. 

The groom’s best man was his brother Brad Fenton. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Wyatt Fenton, brother-in-law Mitch Schwartzman and friends Scott Shladovsky, Steve Breiterman and Adam Crawshaw. 

Ushers were the groom’s friends Patrick Roddy and Brendan Akos. Marlene Bricker officiated. The couple honeymooned in Thailand. 

Colton and Emily met through a mutual friend in 2013. Colton came to St. Louis to visit a college friend who happened to be Emily’s longtime childhood best friend, Emily Bornstein.

Colton proposed on May 14, 2016. He planned a getaway trip for the couple with close friends, surprising Emily with a proposal on the beach in Ocean City, N.J.

The couple resides in Chesterfield.
