The North American Federation of Temple Youth is an organization for Jewish high school students. The Missouri Valley Region provides programming for members from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, southern Illinois, and Wyoming and is sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism. NFTY-Missouri Valley hosts 4 regional events for 9th-12th graders, 1 regional event for 7thand 8th graders, and several community wide events for 6th-8th graders (NFTY678). Missouri Valley teens also volunteer as counselors at Camp Rainbow, a camp for children with cancer or other blood related disorders. Additionally, NFTY offers summer or semester-long Israel programs, service learning trips all over the world (URJ Mitzvah Corps), leadership development at the Kutz Camp, and a biennial convention that draws more than 1,000 Jewish high school students from across North America.
