Monte and Harriet Ross Celebrate 60th Anniversary

Monte and Harriet Ross of Creve Coeur recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, Feb. 10, 2017. They are Chicago natives who have made St. Louis home for more than 50 years. Monte headed up the Laser Communication Division at McDonnell-Douglas for many years and later became an entrepreneur as CEO of Ultradata Systems. Harriet received a degree in education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and worked in market research. The couple’s children are Dr. Ryia Ross-Peterson (Mark), Diane Myers Stayton (John), and Ethan Ross (Miriam). Their grandchildren are Jake Peterson, April Myers, Gabriella and Julia Ross.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a blessing from Rabbi James Stone Goodman at their beloved synagogue, Neve Shalom. They are former members of United Hebrew and Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel.  A summer party is planned to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, Harriet’s 80th birthday and Monte’s 85th birthday.

“We are very lucky to be together for 60 years with three wonderful children and their spouses, and four terrific grandchildren,” the couple noted.
