For the past 40 years, The Lights of the Jewish Special Needs Society has served the needy, ill and disadvantaged of all ages in the local community. Emergency funds are primarily provided for food, rent and varied special casework needs; members knit and crochet lap robes for AIDS patients, women’s shelters, skilled nursing facilities and hospitals. Referrals for assistance are through the Jewish Family and Children’s Service. For assistance call 314-993-1000.
