Elaine and Charlie were married Sept. 11, 1960. Charlie is a healthy and active 90-year-old, and Elaine, better known as “Pudden,” is 73. Elaine is the daughter of the late Sam Tabachnic and Charlotte Rose Tabachnic. Charlie is the son of the late Sam and Fannie Satz Ginsberg.

The couple was married by the late Rabbi Halpern of Congregation B’nai Amoona. The ceremony was performed at the Park Plaza Hotel, on the 17th and 18th floors, which was followed by a reception and sit-down dinner. There were 200 friends and family invited. Both Elaine and Charlie were in the real estate business at that time. The Ginsbergs have been living in Fort Myers for the past six years, following seven years of being “on the road” as full time motor-homers. Prior to that, they lived in Ballwin for 37 years and were active members of B’nai Amoona. Both Elaine and Charlie keep busy now by working part-time at the Fort Myers Camping World RV Super Center and enjoy all the amenities at their resident community, Colonial Country Club. Elaine and Charlie are thankful for their good health and love being able to spend their golden years in “paradise.”
