On Oct. 7, Cantor Ron Eichaker (left) of United Hebrew Congregation taught a class on cooking for Sukkot during the ‘In the Festive Kitchen’ series held by Central Agency for Jewish Education and UH, where the class took place.  Eichaker treated the class to watermelon drinks, pumpkin hummus, roasted chickpeas, stuffed grape leaves, a fruit salad with pomegranate vinaigrette and a vegetable tangine — while discussing how the ingredients were tied to biblical references and Jewish traditions.
