As Passover draws near this year, Chabad is gearing up to welcome hundreds of attendees to public Passover seders on the first two nights of the holiday— on April 22 and 23.
The community seders take participants through the story of the miraculous liberation of the Jewish people from bondage in ancient Egypt. To meet the needs of those looking for a place to observe this tradition Chabad will be welcoming people of the Jewish faith to participate in a seder nearest to them.
“Judaism is a birthright and we want to ensure that everyone who wishes to celebrate Passover can do so,” said Rabbi Yosef Landa, regional director for Chabad of Greater St. Louis. “Our goal is to lower the barrier to Jewish engagement and ensure everyone feels welcome and included and has the opportunities and resources they need to celebrate the holiday.”
