Established in 1850 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Forty-two acres of beautifully landscaped, forested grounds, and the only Jewish cemetery in St. Louis with a Community Mausoleum. Throughout the grounds are historic family mausoleums in the Neoclassical architectural style. Permits non-Jewish burials and cremations. The cemetery is owned by Congregation Shaare Emeth and Temple Israel; and serves the entire Jewish community. Open dawn to dusk.
