Julie Caroline Zorensky, daughter of Karen and Mark Zorensky of St. Louis, and John Henry Ernst III of St. Louis, son of Kathleen and John Henry Ernst Jr. of St. Louis, have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Hortense Tarkow and the late Edwin Tarkow and the late Doris Jean (Jeanne) Zorensky and the late Milton Zorensky, all of St. Louis. 

He is the grandson of the late Ann and the late John Geiser of St. Louis, the late Virginia Berg of Trenton, N.J., and the late John Ernst Sr. of Washington, Mo. 

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor of science degree in hospitality management from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. She works for The Doubletree Hotel in concierge services. She also provides personal assistance services. 

Her fiancé earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting and a bachelor of arts in business administration from Truman State University. He earned a master of science degree in forensic accounting from Webster University. He is a certified public accountant and consulting manager with Kerber, Eck and Braeckel LLP. 

A September, 2014 wedding is planned. The couple resides in St. Louis.
