Melissa Zeloof, daughter of Charles and Ariella Zeloof of Herzeliya, Israel, and David Lasday, son of Jeffrey and Lori Lasday of West Bloomfield, Mich., have announced their engagement.

Melissa is the granddaughter of Salim (z’’l) and Doris Zeloof, and David and Nelly Blanga of Herzeliya.  She graduated from University College London and is head of public relations at Israeli technology company ironSource.  

David is the grandson of Stanley (z’’l) and Ruth Lasday and Marvin (z’’l) and Rhoda Serbin of Pittsburgh. He graduated from the University of Maryland and is the founder and Director of Hoops for Kids and Director of Youth Development for Israel Lacrosse.  

David and Melissa met in Tel Aviv, where they will reside after the wedding. David proposed to Melissa on the bluffs north of Netanya overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.  

A June 2016 wedding is planned in Israel.
