Norma Leny Yabeta, daughter of Juan and Marvel Yabeta of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and David A. Rubin, son of Jeanette Fredman Rubin and the late Gilbert Rubin, O.D. of University City, were married August 21, 2011 at a private home where Rabbi Ze’ev Smason of Nusach Hari B’nai Zion, officiated. A wedding reception followed. The bride was assisted by the groom’s sister, Mrs. Deborah Rubin Cohen of Raanana, Israel. The groom was assisted by Mr. Simcha Polsky of Chicago, Ill. The bride is an attorney and wedding dressmaker. The groom owns The Law Offices of David A. Rubin, L.L.C. in Olivette, Ellisville and St. Peters. The couple became engaged on the steps in front of the Kotel. Following a wedding trip to Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, the couple resides with their son, Yitzchak, in University City.
