Jennifer Rachel Wolff, daughter of June and Alvin Wolff of St. Louis, and Thomas Howard Hertzberg, son of Sue and Stuart Hertzberg of Wilmette, Ill., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Helena and Ronald Friedman of Tamarac, Fla. and the late Arnold Kleinfeld, Millie Wolff and Alvin Wolff, Sr.

He is the grandson of the late Lila and John Noll and the late Anita and Herbert Hertzberg.

The couple met on a co-ed softball team in Denver.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and a 2006 graduate of Emory University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in English. She is currently employed as special events manager with Kroenke Sports in Denver.

Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of New Trier High School and a 2006 graduate of Denver University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He is currently employed as Vice President in Commercial Finance with Silicon Valley Bank, in Broomfield, Colo.

A September, 2012 wedding is planned.
