Alyssa Michelle Wieser, daughter of Michael and Susan Wieser of Chesterfield, and Kyle Brandt Kochtanek, son of Barbara and Thomas Kochtanek of Columbia, Mo. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Doris and the late Mal Dardick and Lorraine and Cy Wieser. He is the grandson of Eve and the late Jack Kochtanek and Patte and Bob Brandt.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a degree in communication and business. She is currently employed at the Saint Louis Zoo in the development office as manager of major gifts.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Hickman High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a degree in finance and banking with an emphasis in real estate. He is currently employed as a business development associate at U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation.

A June, 2013 wedding is planned.
