Rachel Weiss, daughter of Janie and John Weiss of St. Louis, and Matthew Kalina, son of Michele and Howard Kalina of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

Rachel is the granddaughter of Ruthellyn Roufa and the late Muni Roodman of St. Louis, and Shirley and the late Calvin Weiss of St. Louis.

Matthew is the grandson of the late Helen and Irvin Goldstein of St. Louis, and Esther and the late Sydney Kalina of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be graduated with a master of social work degree from Washington University.

The groom-to-be graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in marketing and sales management and is currently the Porsche Brand Ambassador for Porsche St. Louis.

A November 2016 wedding is planned.
