WEINTRAUB-BLOCK ENGAGEMENT
Published July 11, 2012
Danielle Faith Weintraub, daughter of Susan and Robert Weintraub of St. Louis, and Cory Matthew Block, son of the late Linda and the late Alan Block of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Suzanne and the late Sam Weintraub of St. Louis and the late Marion and the late Monroe Roffer of Ardsley, N.Y. He is the grandson of the late Raquel and Neal Parnas of St. Louis and the late Rose and the late Melvin Block of St. Louis.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of the University of Denver, where she earned a degree in advertising and marketing. Her fiancé is a 2003 graduate of the University of Indiana and received his master’s degree in real estate development from Columbia University in 2012. He is a real estate entrepreneur who is co-owner and co-president of Building Block & Parnas Properties.
The couple lived one mile apart their entire lives but didn’t meet until one night four years ago.
In between New York (where Block was attending Columbia University and Weintraub was persuing a career in digital media), and St. Louis, where the couple plan to reside, the couple were in Tel Aviv when Block proposed on the beach at sunset. The ring? A lovely $7 gem to keep until the couple returned home to bigger (and better) things!
A Spring, 2013 wedding is planned.
