LOBOS-SHUCART

Jennifer Lobos, daughter of Linda Lobos of St. Louis and Jon Lobos of Paris, Ill and Matthew Shucart, son of Jay and Sheila Shucart of Chesterfield, Mo., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Orval and Paul Bogard or Carterville, Ill and the late John Lobos and Betty Lobos of New Athens, Ill. He is the grandson of the late Buddy and the late Frankie Shucart of St. Louis, and the late Al Rosen and Bonnie Rosen of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Civic Memorial High School and is currently an information specialist at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central and the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. He is currently employed at Annie Gunns Restaurant. A May, 2009 wedding is planned.

SCHENBERGS CELEBRATE 60 YEARS

Joe and Gerry Schenberg married September 19, 1948 at United Hebrew Temple by Rabbi Thurman of United Hebrew and Mazur of Brith Shalom synagogue.

They honeymooed at the Hotel Astor in New York City. They are blessed with three remarkable children, Elaine (Carl) Knobler, Rob (Susanne) Schenberg and Sandy (Dr. Michael) Wexler, as well as four granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and a recent addition of a great-grandson. They wish to thank their many life long friends for their best wishes.

MELO-EIDELMAN

Catalina Melo, daughter of David Melo and Martha Luz White de Melo of Columbia, South America and Scott Howard Eidelman, son of Charlene and Larry Eidelman of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Ciro Alfonso Melo & Josafa Ardila de Melo of Columbia, S.A. and Juan Esteban White and Nelia Burges de White.

He is the grandson of the late Harry and Mildred Eidelman of Chesterfield, and the late Ruth Stoup and the late Sol Trachtman of Kansas City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Instituo de Ciencias de la Salud where she earned a medical degree. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.

She is currently employed as a Psychiatrist at Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor, Maine.

Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he earned a psychology degree and the University of Kansas, Lawrence, where he earned a doctorate degree in Psychology.

He is currently employed as a Professor of Psychology at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. An exact wedding date has not been set.
