COHEN-NOLAN
Bobbie Cohen, daughter of the late Jack Cohen and the late Ruth and the late Al Rubin Katz of Creve Coeur, and Jim Nolan, son of the late Emmett and Margaret Nolan of Kenosha, Wis. were married on March 22, 2009 at the Jewish Center of Venice in Venice, Fla., where Cantor Marci Vitkus officiated.
A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Marina Jack’s overlooking Sarasota Bay, Fla.
The bride chose her sister, Sharon Katz-Weintraub of Creve Coeur, sister of the bride, as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kathleen Leighton, sister of the groom, from Milwaukee, Wis., and Heather C. Butler, daughter of the groom of South Hadley, Mass.
The groom chose his son Patrick Nolan, as best man. Groomsmen were Julian Ellefson, a friend from Waukesha, Wis. and Gerald Mellone, a friend from Brookfield, Wis. Ushers were Skip Seager, a friend from Sarasota, Fla. and Tom Jaskwhich, a friend from Bonita Springs, Fla.
The couple are retired and live in Venice, Fla.
SABATO-KORITZ
Susan Angelina Sabato, daughter of John M. Sabato of Winchester,Va. and Susan E. Harwell of Frederick, Md., and Robert Samuel Koritz, son of Mark H. & Susan R. Koritz of Chesterfield, were married Saturday, May 2, 2009 at The Hilton Saint Louis, Frontenac, where Rabbis Andrea Goldstein and Jeffrey Stiffman officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at The Hilton Saint Louis, Frontenac.
She is the granddaughter of the late John and the late Shirley Sabato of Philadelphia, and Robert and Nancy Harwell, of Carthage, Mo. He is the grandson of the late Colonel Earle and the late Melba Rosen and the late Jason Koritz and the late Ethel Koritz, all of Saint Louis.
The bride chose her sister, Jennifer Eaton and her friend, Jennifer Statler, as maid and matron of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Nicole Guinan, friend of the bride, and Elizabeth Koritz and Deborah Lefton, sisters of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Cadence Hodes and Kyra Hodes, nieces of the groom. The flower girl was Sydney Lefton, niece of the groom.
The groom chose his friend, Neil Jaffe, as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Lefton, brother-in-law of the groom, and Robert Hodes, David “Chopper” Campbell, Christopher Feldott, Robert Williams and Donnell Robinson, all friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Matthew Eaton, nephew of the bride. The ring bearer was Jacob Lefton, nephew of the groom.
Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Chesterfield.
