Meredith Lynn Ruben, daughter of Gloria and the late Michael Ruben of Chesterfield, Mo., and Kevin Douglas Daniels, son of Barb and Mike Williams and Jimmy and Lois Daniels, all of Fenton, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Jean and Nap Friedman of Chesterfield, Mo., and Esther and Max Ruben of Cleveland, Ohio. He is the grandson of Goldie and the late Paul Goldberg of St. Louis and Mary and the late Lee Daniels of Pine Bluff, Ark.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned a B.S. degree in elementary education. She is currently a kindergarten teacher in the Hazelwood School District.

Her fiance is a graduate of Rockwood Summit High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a B.S. degree in secondary education. He is currently a high school math teacher at Ritenour High School.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
