SKOR-BERGER

Meredith Jill Skor, daughter of Elaine and Marc Tenzer and Donald and Kristie Skor of St. Louis, and Joseph Benjamin Berger, son of Ann and Sheldon Berger of Dayton, Ohio, were married Oct. 6, 2007 at The Coronado Ballroom where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky officiated.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the The Coronado Ballroom.

She is the granddaughter of Harriet Moscowitz of Dayton, Ohio and Kathleen Skor of Barrington, Ill.

He is the grandson of Frances Hanken of Phoenix, Ariz.

The bride chose Sarah Lefton as matron of honor. Lisa Minc was maid of honor.

Terri Bormaster, Lauren Simms, Erika Gimple, Daniele Skor, Michelle Goldsmith and Alana Yavers were bridesmaids. Lauren Gimple, niece of the groom served as flower girl.

The groom chose Bradley Barkin as best man.

Groomsmen were Jay Cox, Michael Grodsky, Andrew Suess, Daniel Dixon, Michael Weichman, Douglas Gimple and Andrew Skor.

Ushers were Brett Pernikoff and Matthew Schiavoni.

Joshua Gimple, nephew of the groom served as ring bearer.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Chicago, Ill.

RAIFFIES CELEBRATE 60 YEARS

Yetta and Seymour Raiffie celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Shaare Zedek Synagogue on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008. They were blessed by Rabbi Mark Fasman under the chuppah held by their children, Marcia and Steven Feit and Carol and Bob Glick.

Their grandchildren, Michelle, Jeremy, Stephanie Feit and Amy and Ross Glick happily watched their Bubbe Zadie. A kiddush luncheon followed the ceremony to culminate the celebration. The Raiffies donated a Torah stand to the synagogue in honor of this special occasion.
