GOODKIN-ROTH

Lauren Elizabeth Goodkin, daughter of Stanley and Barbara Goodkin of Clayton, Mo., and Martin Louis Roth, son of Leslie Roth and Debra Roth Arthur of Miami, Florida, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Samuel and the late Lena Goodkin of Minneapolis, and the late Maurice and the late Marion Rich of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of Howard and Delores Levine of Miami, Fla., and Irving and Harriet Roth of New York. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and George Washington University where she earned her B.A. in Political Science and a graduate of Emery Law School. She is currently an attorney at Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal, LLP in Chicago.

Her fiance is a graduate of Miami Killian Senior High and Harvard University where he earned a B.A. in government and is a graduate of Cornell Law School. He is currently an attorney at Kirklind and Ellis, LLP in Chicago. A June, 2009 wedding is planned. Photo by Tom Tussey Photography

DALTONS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

Mary Gail and Dick Dalton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on October 15, 2008. On Saturday, October 4th, they were honored at a dinner party hosted by their children, Randy and Angela Dalton, Jim Dalton and John Dalton. Also in attendance were their grandchildren, Mary Mothershead, Ryan Dalton, Cassie Dalton, Louis Dalton and Joel Dalton.

JACK COHEN BAR MITZVAH

Jack Bailey Cohen, son of Ellie and Scott Cohen became a bar mitzvah on March 29, 2008. The family belongs to Congregation Shaare Emeth. Jack is the grandson of Charlotte Grossman, Vicki and Norman Cohen and great-grandson of Ruth Sacks.
