Shirley Alexis Rosen, daughter of Linda and Niles Rosen of Chesterfield, Mo., and Ryan James Tasker, son of Jan and Winfried Tasker of St. Peters, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Maury and the late Shirley Sosnoff, the late Seymour Rosen and Chloe Carter. He is the grandson of James and Johanna Tasker, Alsace Lorraine Ellis and the late Med Charles Ellis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Maryville University where she earned a B.A. degree in political science and the St. Louis University School of Law where she earned a J.D. degree. She is currently an attorney with the law offices of Susan Ward, LLC. Her fiance is a graduate of Fort Zumwalt South High School and Lindenwood University where he earned a B.A. degree in business. He is currently a field technician with Verizon. A June 2008 wedding is planned.
