Baer-Hilgert

Melissa Baer, daughter of Diane and Harvey Baer of Atlanta and Greg Hilgert, son of Jeff and Pat Hilgert of Newtown, Conn., were married Sept. 17, 2006, at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.

She is the granddaughter of the late Sylvia and David Siffer of St. Louis and Heinz and Gail Baer of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Alice Grela of Wilton, Conn., and the late Charles and Muriel Hilgert of Darien, Conn.

The bride chose Mandy, her sister, as maid of honor.

The groom chose Kris Clark, his brother-in-law, as best man.

The couple currently resides in Fairfield, Conn.

Conroy-Pereles

Rachel Leah Conroy, daughter of Herbert and Joan Conroy of West Bloomfield, Mich., and David Nathan Pereles, son of Joseph and Brenda Pereles of St. Louis, were married on June 25, 2006, at Temple Shir Shalom – West Bloomfield, where Rabbi James Bennett and Rabbi Michael Moskowitz officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at Temple Shir Shalom. She is the granddaughter of Freddie and the late Richard L. Goldberg of Nashville, Tenn., and Neice and the late Jack Conroy of Memphis, Tenn. He is the grandson of Alvin R. Ukman and the late Maxine S. Ukman of St. Louis and Ann Pereles of Milwaukee and the late Robert Pereles of Phoenix.

The bride chose Emily Conroy, her sister, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Hirsch, Ariella Klein, Leslie Brown, and Natalie Pereles, sister of the groom.

The groom chose Andrew Bohrendt as best man. Groomsmen were Jerry Ames, David True, Zach Landsburg and Greg Davis.

Ushers were Bryan Singer, Scott Keller, and Josiah Haas.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Atlanta.

Lange-Kaiser

Melissa Elizabeth Lange, daughter of Dennis Lange of Chesterfield and the late Vicky Lange, and Andrew David Kaiser, son of Philip and Ilene Kaiser of Clayton, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Sylvia Weiser of St. Louis and the late Rudy and Bertha Lange of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Arthur and Ruth Kaiser of North Woodmere, N.Y., and the late Herbert and Laney Tieman of Columbus, Ohio, and of Elizabeth Tieman of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School in St. Louis and Forest Park Community College, where she earned a degree in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts. She is currently working as the national sales manager for the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis.

Her fianc é is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School; Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. degree in sports marketing and was on the football team; and Nova Southeastern School of Law in Davie, Fla., where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree, and he is a 2007 candidate for a masters of law degree in taxation from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.

He is presently employed as an associate with The Kaiser Law Firm, P. C., in St. Louis.

An August, 2007 wedding is planned.
