Sheri Danielle Martin, daughter of Dr. David and Rickey Martin of Chesterfield, Mo., and Ryan Thomas Lubniewski, son of Thomas and Bonnie Lubniewski of Naperville, Ill., have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of the late Leo and the late Marjorie Horwitz, of Lincolnwood, Ill., and the late Mayor and the late Esther Martin of Fort Myers, Fla.
He is the grandson of Annette and Robert Dahlke and Joyce Lubniewski and the late Raymond Lubniewski.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Illinois where she earned a B.S. degree in accounting and finance. She is currently a CPA with Lasalle Bank, Chicago. Her fiance is a graduate of Naperville High School and the University of Illinois where he earned a B.S. degree in economics. He is currently a CPA with Crowe-Chizek in Oak Brook, Ill.
A November 2007 wedding is planned.
SCHLACKMAN-PODOLSKY
Lisa Ray Schlackman, daughter of Deborah and Jonathan Schlackman of Metairie, La., and Paul Jeffrey Podolsky, son of Sherri and Ronald Podolsky of Chesterfield, Mo., have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Patricia Rex of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Seymour Schlackman and Adele Schlackman of Boynton Beach, Fla.
He is the grandson of the late Erwin and the late Esther Podolsky of St. Louis, Mo., the late Leatrice Drifon of St. Louis, and John and Sylvia Drifon of Creve Coeur.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Isidore Newman School, New Orleans, La., and the University of Kansas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in the history of art.
She is currently a media buyer with MediaEdge:cia.
Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Kansas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. He is currently an account manager with Starpoint Solutions.
A December 2007 wedding is planned.
