BARKIN-BUECKMAN

Alexandra Barkin Blake, daughter of Patricia Barkin Camilli of New York, NY and Samuel Barkin of Rye Brook, NY and Daniel Aaron Bueckman, son of Audree and Dick Bueckman of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Doris Aronow and the late Ira Aronow of New York, N.Y. and Bernice Barkin and the late Herbert Barkin of Fairfield, Conn. He is the grandson of Betty Brimer and the late Milton Brimer of Chesterfield, Mo and Oneta Bueckman and the late Orville Bueckman of Chester, Ill.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Riverdale Country School and Middlebury College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at New York University.

Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communication. He is currently Partner, Associate Director at Mindshare in New York, NY.

An August, 2009 wedding is planned.

GREENBERGS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

Congratulations to Maureen and Bob Greenberg who will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Maureen Schermer and Robert Greenberg were married on November 29, 1958, at Westwood Country Club, and honeymooned in Hawaii. They have spent 50 years of wedded bliss with family and friends in St. Louis. Best Wishes, Maureen and Bob!

SINGER BAT MITZVAH

Danielle Singer, daughter of Michael and Stacy Singer, had her bat mitzvah August 16, 2008 at B’nai Amoona. Grandparents are Barbara and (the late Karl) Liberman and Elaine and Neal Singer. Her great-grandparent is Erwin Jaffe.
