RADMAN TURNS 95

Fred Radman was honored at a brunch given by his children, Dr. Paul Radman of Dallas, Tex., and Dee and Kurt Herrmann of Ballwin to celebrate his 95th birthday at B’nai Amoona on Aug. 5. The event was attended by about 100 family members and friends.

Radman, born June 6, 1912 to Moses and Machly Radman, has two children, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was married for 62 years to the late Mary Zucker.

He graduated from East St. Louis High School and the St. Louis University School of Commerce and Finance where he received a degree in commercial science. Later, he spent 45 years in the real estate business until his semi-retirement at age 87.

A life board member of B’nai Amoona Congregation, he has also been president of the Men’s Club and Minyanaire of the Year among other honors. He and his wife also helped to build the lower level of the congregation’s previous building.

COHENS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

Anita and Stanley Cohen are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary along with their children and six grandchildren with a getaway vacation to Cancun, Mexico.

Their sons Michael and Mark and their wives, Sandee and Karen and their six grandchildren Marissa, Daniel, Bryce, Kayleigh, Ross and Clark will be marking the occassion along with Anita and Stanley. Their anniversary is Dec. 1, 2007 and they will be blessed at their temple, United Hebrew on Shabbat, Nov. 30, 2007.

RICHARDS-LOITERSTEIN

Denise Richards, daughter of Kathy and Dave Richards of Springfield, Ill., and Paul Loiterstein, son of Sherre and Irwin Loiterstein of Chesterfield, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Edward and Alice Richards and the late William and Dorothy Ralph. He is the grandson of the late Leona and Harry Schenberg and Ella Rosenberg and the late Lou Rosenberg and the late David Rosenberg. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lutheran High School and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a bachelor of science degree and DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Ill. She is currently employed as an assistant state’s attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney Office in Chicago.

Her fiance is a graduate of Halls International School of Diving and Meramec Community College where he earned an associates degree in anthropology. He is the owner of Imagine Habitats by Design in Chicago, Ill.

An April wedding is planned.
