Lindi Ann Larson, daughter of Raymond and Kellie Larson of Green, Kan., and Scott David Schoenfeld, son of Marc and Anne Schoenfeld of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Arlan and Arlene Habluetzel of Clay Center, Kan., and Jon and Evelyn Larson of Randolph, Kan.

He is the grandson of Lillian and the late Sanford Schoenfeld of Chesterfield, and the late Saul and Rose Stern of Memphis, Tenn.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Clay Center Community High School in Clay Center, Kan. and Kansas State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. Currently, she is a teacher in the Troy, Mo. school district and is obtaining a master’s degree at the University of Missouri.

Her fiance is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology. Currently, he is a detective for the Warren County, Mo. Sheriff’s Department.

The couple currently lives in Warrenton. A July 10, 2010 wedding is planned.

NEEDLES CELEBRATE 65 YEARS

Jack and Mondell Needles celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2009.

Before retiring to Boynton Beach, Fla. in 1992, the Needles lived in Chesterfield.

Jack had been the owner and CEO of Needles Moving & Storage Company as well as founding father of Atlas Van Lines, Inc and major stockholder.

Their son, Douglas, lives in Bowling Green, Mo., and their son, Jim, resides in Mill Valley, Calif. with his wife Karin and the Needles’ grandson, Aidan.

A granddaughter, Sara Needles, lives in Chesterfield while her sister and the Needles’ granddaughter Marla reside with her husband David May and their two children, Gracie and Tyler, the Needles’ great-grandchildren.

Their granddaughter Melissa Ann Needles is attending the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

NOVACK-HODGE ENGAGEMENT

Leah Marie Novack, daughter of Glenn Novack and the late Connie Novack of Chesterfield, and Jessie Hodge, son of Dewayne and Patsy Hodge of Gainsboro, Tenn. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Nancy and Jerry Novack.

The bride-to-be is currently employed at Clear Channel Radio FM97 as a Radio Air Talent.

Her fianc é is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed by Worley Parsons.

An October, 2010 wedding is planned.

HOFFMAN-PELLENBERG ENGAGEMENT

Abigail Weil Hoffman, daughter of Susan and Robert Hoffman of Houston, Texas, and Rod Evan Pellenberg, son of Sherry and Art Pellenberg of Houston, Texas, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Henry Ross and the late Shirley Ross and Gay Hirsch of St. Louis, and the late Marjorie Hoffman Young and Orren Hoffman of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is the grandson of Judy Erlich and the late Jack Erlich of Houston, and Joe Pellenberg and the late Betty Pellenberg of Atlanta.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Tulane University and Tulane School of Medicine where she earned a B.S. degree and M.D. degree in Neuroscience and Doctor of Medicine. She is currently in her third year of general surgery residency at Weill Cornell University, The Methodist Hospital in Houston.

Her fianc é is a graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston and Duke University and Tulane School of Medicine, where he earned a B.S. degree and a M.S./M.D. degree in Psychology and Pharmacology/Doctor of Medicine. He is currently in his final year of pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital and in the summer of 2010 he will start his cardiology fellowship at Duke Children’s Hospital.
