KITSIS HEBERLEIN

Jamie Nicole Kitsis, daughter of Elaine and Robert Kitsis of St. Louis, and Gary William Heberlein, son of William and the late Patricia Heberlein of Plymouth, Wisc., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Charlotte and Louis Nehmen of St. Louis and the late Maurice and Sonia Kitsis of Mason City, Iowa. He is the grandson of the late Paul and Mabel Heberlein of Portage, Wisc., and the late William and Bertha Schyvinck of Reedsburg, Wisc. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is currently a Marketing Project Manager at Elsevier, a health science publishing company in St. Louis. Her fiance is a graduate of Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Wisc., and Emery Aviation College in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he earned an associate’s degree in aviation management. He is currently a Learjet pilot for Spirit Jets in Chesterfield. An October, 2009 wedding is planned in St. Louis.

HYATT-FRANK

Emily Hyatt, daughter of Robert and Sheila Hyatt of Denver, Colo., and Drew Frank, son of Lori and Jay Frank of Newtown, Penn., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Dolly and the late Saul Krawll of St. Louis, and Annette Hyatt of Denver, Colo., and the late John Hyatt. He is the grandson of Marylin Cohen and the late Mel Cohen of Island Park, N.Y. and the late Byron and Albert Frank. The bride-to-be received her bachelor’s degree from American University and is working toward her MBA from the Kelly School of Business of Indiana University. She is currently Program Director for the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, Rocky Mountain Region, in Denver, Colo. Her fiance received his degree in Management and International Business from Penn State University. He is currently the District Manager of the Vector Marketing/Cutco Cutlery in Denver, Colo. A November, 2009 wedding is planned.

HAMVAS-JOHNSON

Lauren Elizabeth Hamvas, daughter of Aaron and Paula Hamvas of St. Louis, and Scott Albert Joseph Johnson, son of Gerald and Cindy Johnson of Bemidji, Minn. and Kelly McKay of St. Paul, Minn. have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late Leonard and the late Gloria Cokerstein of Hudson, N.Y. and the late Lewis and Carol Hamvas of Yankston, S.D. He is the grandson of Calvin and Mary Jane McKay of London, Ontario and the late Martin Johnson and Herbert and Lorna Helm of Bagley, Minn. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Horton-Watkins high school and Boston University, where she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in public health. She is currently a research associate at Tulane University School of Public Health. Her fiance is a graduate of Bemidji High School and Boston University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in archaeology.
