Amanda Robinson, daughter of Dr. Howard N. Robinson and Jeanette Robinson of Miami Beach, Fla. and Jonathan Alpert, son of Theodore and Marsha Alpert of Denver, Colo., have announced their engagement.
Amanda is the granddaughter of the late William S. Robinson and Adaline Smith Robinson of Creve Coeur and Harold and Shelia Shatkin of Miami Beach. The bride-to-be went to Hillel Community Day School and graduated from Miami Country Day School and the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She is currently a real estate broker for David, Hicks & Lampert Brokerage in Denver.
Her fianc é is a graduate of Cherry Creek High School and Emory University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business. He is currently a real estate manager for Shea Properties in Denver.
A November, 2010 wedding is planned in Miami Beach.
KANOFSKY-BROCK ENGAGEMENT
Michelle Lynn Kanofsky, daughter of Art and Harriet Kanofsky and Andrew Joel Brock, son of Mary and Joel Brock have announced their engagement.
Michelle is the granddaughter of Anna Gruber and the late Maurice Gruber and the late Helen and Stan Kanofsky.
Andrew is the grandson of Dorothy Kunz and the late Victor Kunz.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High School and received a Business Degree from Meramec Community College. She currently is working at Walgreens as a Team Lead in Chesterfield.
Her fianc é is a graduate of McClure North High School and recently returned from Hawaii working for Norwegian Cruise Lines. He is presently working on continuing his studies certification for a fireman/paramedic.
An August 14th wedding is planned.
COHEN-KRAMER ENGAGEMENT
Lisa Hollander Cohen, daughter of Ronald and Cookie Hollander of Creve Coeur, and Roy Howard Kramer, son of Richard and Elaine Kramer of Boynton Beach, Fla. have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of the late Lou and Sadie Slade and Rae Hollander and the late Dan Hollander. He is the grandson of the late Celia and the late Max Feingold and the late Grace and the late Dan Kramer.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and St. Louis University where she earned a BS degree in elementary education. She is currently Senior Program Director at the West County YMCA.
Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway North and the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a BS degree in accounting. He is currently a member with Brown, Smith, Wallace, LLC.
A June, 2010 wedding is planned.
