Carrie Lynn Winthrop, daughter of Dr. Dennis B. Winthrop and Mrs. Linda R. Winthrop of Maryland Heights, Mo., and David H. Choate, son of Katharine Koch Choate of Brentwood have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Michael B. Winthrop and the late Lois M. Winthrop and Sam Finkelstein and the late Jeanne E. Finkelstein of Creve Coeur, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High School and Truman State University where she received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science and St. Louis University, where she earned a masters degree in physical therapy. She is currently a pediatric physical therapist at Frances Howell School District. Her fiance is a graduate of Chaminade College Preparatory School and Truman State University where he earned a bachelors degree in communications and is attending Lindenwood University where he is working on a masters degree in administration. He is currently a language arts teacher in Lafayette High School in Rockwood School District.

A June wedding is planned.

OREN-ZAHARONI

Gali Zaharoni, daughter of Ilan and Gila Zaharoni, of Moshav Ramon, Israel and Dekel Oren, son of Vicki and Haim Oren, of Kibbutz Ginnegar, Israel, have announced their engagement.

He is the grandson of Hadassah and Buddy Lebman of St. Louis, Mo. The bride-to-be is currently an administrative assistant in a large Israeli company. Her fiance is attending an Israeli culinary school and working as chef in the Limozine Restaurant in Ramat Yishay.

An August wedding is planned.
