PHON-OTTENSTEIN

Marni Phon and Jordan Ottenstein have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen and Gil Phon of Chesterfield. She is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned a bachelors of arts degree in psychology and St. Louis University where she earned a bachelors of science degree in nursing. Currently she is employed at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The future groom is the son of Pam and Jim Ottenstein of Shorewood, Minn. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelors of arts degree in Judaic studies and Hebrew. In August, he will be a candidate for a Masters of Arts degree in teaching from Webster University. He is currently the director of education at Central Reform Congregation.

A May 2008 wedding with a honeymoon in Maui is planned. The couple will reside in St. Louis.
