REIF-REPPY

Allison Reif, daughter of Helene Reif and Fred Reif of St. Louis, Mo., and Justin Reppy, son of Carolyn Reppy and James Reppy of Carbondale, Ill., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Lil and Joe Landers and Corinne and the late Irwin Reif of St. Louis, Mo.

He is the grandson of Robert and Nancy Hagaman of Homosassa, Fla., and Joyce and the late John Reppy of St. Louis, Mo.

The bride to be is a graduate of Parkway Central Senior High and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a B.S. degree in education. She is currently a seventh-grade math teacher. Her fiance is a graduate of Carbondale Community High School and SIU-Carbondale where he earned a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree in accounting. He is currently a tax accountant. A June 2007 wedding is planned.

FRIEDMAN-LEVINE

Sara Anne Friedman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Friedman of St. Louis, Mo., and Benjamin Ross Levine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Levine of Memphis, Tenn., have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue High School and Drake University in Des Moines, Ia., where she earned a B.S. degree in education. She is currently a fourth grade teacher at Maplewood-Richmond Heights Elementary in Richmond Heights. Her fiance is a graduate of Ridgeway High School in Memphis, Tenn., and Washington University in St. Louis, with B.S. degrees in computer science and computer engineering.

He is currently a senior analyst at AT &T in St. Louis, Mo.

After their honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in St. Louis.

PINKUS-SHAPIRO

Susan Ruth Pinkus, daughter of Janice and Max Pinkus of Chesterfield, and Grant Stephen Shapiro, son of Frances Rose and Sanford and Helena Shapiro of Los Angeles, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Esther and the late Maurice Braun and the late Hannah and the late Wolf Pinkus — all of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Connie and the late Hal Wicksman and the late Nellie and the late Harry Shapiro, all of Los Angeles.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Iowa where she earned a B.S. degree in elementary education with a minor in art. She received a M.E.d degree in supervision and administration from the Bank Street College of Education and the Parson’s School of Design of New York City. She is currently employed as an art teacher in the Kyrene School District of Phoenix, Ariz.

Her fiance is a graduate of El Camino Real High School of Woodland Hills, Calif., with a B.A. degree in communications from the Arizona State University. He is currently employed by Quest Communications in Phoenix.

An October wedding is planned.
