Tracy Marie Wasserman, daughter of Sandy and Frank Wasserman of St. Louis, Mo., and Michael Peter Cassidy, son of Ann and Rob Welsh of Chicago, Ill., and Ann and Tom Cassidy of Sandusky, Ohio, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Mary and Edward Silverman or St. Louis, Mo., and Lucille and Mickey Wasserman of Concord, Mass.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and the University of Colorado where she earned a B.A. degree in sociology and a master’s degree in arts and media management from Columbia College, Chicago, Ill. She is currently working for General Growth Properties in Chicago, Ill. Her fiance is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Ill., where he earned a B.A. degree in communications. He is currently employed by the Office of Speaker Michael Madigan, Illinois House of Representatives.

An October wedding is planned.

DEWOSKIN-WEISS

Amy Elizabeth DeWoskin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas DeWoskin of Creve Coeur and Evan Stuart Weiss, son of Dr. and Mrs. Terry Weiss of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Sarene and the late Nolan DeWoskin.

He is the grandson of Dr. Fred and the late Evelyn Weiss and Ruth and the late Joseph Silverstein.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of John Burroughs School and Syracuse University where she earned a degree in business.

Her fiance is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and Brown University where he earned a degree in Middle East studies with honors and a master’s of science degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and is a Fulbright scholar.

A May wedding is planned.

SEGAL-STEFFIN

Lesley Erin Segal, daughter of David and Donna Segal of Chesterfield, Mo., and Brian Donald Steffin, M.D., son of Donald and Carol Steffin of Appleton, Wis., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Frances Lerner of Chesterfield, Mo., and the late Erwin Lerner and the late Sam and Sylvian Segal. He is the grandson of Carl and Amanda Steffin of Appleton, Wis., and Irving and the late Lois Buss of Mehasha, Wis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Maryville University where she earned a B.A. degree in psychology. She is currently a sales excutive with PDI Imaging. Her fiance is a graduate of Appleton East High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. where he earned a B.S. degree in biochemistry and an M.D. degree at Medical College of Wisconsin. He is currently an orthopedic surgeon at Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto, Cal.
