BROCKETT-THOMAN

Melissa Suzanne Brockett, daughter of David and Mary Ellen Brockett of Pensacola, Fla., and SFC Ronald Allan Thoman, son of Deborah Thoman and Loren Thoman of Crestline, Ohio were married September 27, 2008 at The Hermitage Hotel, Veranda Room, in Nashville, Tenn., where Rabbi Rami Shapiro and The Honorable Judge Joe B. Brown officiated.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom of the Hermitage Hotel. She is the granddaughter of the late Harry and the late Lillian Rosen of University City.

He is the grandson of Roberta A. DeWitt. The bride chose her sister, Kimberly Brockett-Miller, as matron of honor. Matthew Zion, best friend, was man of honor. Bridesmaids were Tina Kappen, a friend from law school, Lt. Sara deGroot, a friend from law school, Melissa Thoman, sister of the groom and Amy Thoman, sister of the groom.

The groom chose Sgt. Toby Northen, an army friend, as best man. Groomsmen were Sgt. Michael Miller, brother-in-law of the groom, Sgt. Josh Abston, friend of the groom and Tyler Leban, cousin of the groom.

Lois Kennedy, the adopted grandmother of the bride, was a member of the wedding party. The ring bearer was William Miller, nephew of the bride.

SCHMIDT-WAGMAN

Jamie Schmidt, daughter of Sherry Schmidt and James Schmidt, of Chesterfield, and Jacob Isaac Wagman, son of Dr. and Mrs. Howard Malter and Benjamin Wagman of Miami, Fla., were married June 29, 2008 at Central Reform Congregation, where Rabbi Randy Fleisher officiated.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the St. Louis Art Museum.

She is the granddaughter of Rose and the late Julius Roodman, and the late Walter and Leone Schmidt. He is the grandson of the late Max and Henia Richards and the late Joseph and Mildred Wagman. Bridesmaids were Melissa Berk, Amy Falke, Debra Jacob, Katie Legomsky and Laura Shields.

The groom chose his brother, Gabriel Wagman, as best man. Groomsmen were Marc Arbesman, Todd Goldenhersh, Bryan Schmidt, brother of the bride and Matthew Singer. Ushers were Joshua Polsky and Kirk Weil.

WIESER-CASSIMATIS

Lauren Heather Wieser, daughter of Michael and Susan Wieser of Chesterfield, and Michael Nicholas Cassimatis, son of Nicholas and Susan Cassimatis of Chesterfield, were married August 31, 2008 at The Jewel Box in Forest Park, where Rabbi Mark Shook of Temple Israel officiated.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony at Windows Off Washington. She is the granddaughter of Doris and the late Mal Dardick and Cyril and Lorraine Wieser.

He is the grandson of the late Virginia and the late Roy Stickford and the late Petros and the late Helen Cassimatis. Ali Wieser, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Dickman, Allison Fanger, Leslie Lindsey, Bina Shah and Tess Seibert, all friends of the bride. The groom chose Chris Merker, friend of the groom, as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Cassimatis, Danny Cassimatis, both brothers of the groom, Mike Maloney, Nick Johnson and Adam Workman, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Andrew Wieser, brother of the bride, Larry Leon and Christian Lindsey, both friends of the groom.
