SCIALES-TASH

Cristina Vittoria Sciales, daughter of Joseph and Mindy Sciales of Des Peres and Brian Douglas Tash, son of Howard and Nancy Tash of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Jerry Berger of New York and Ruth Berger of Clayton and Rose Marie Sciales and the late Jack Sciales of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Morrie and Bernice Tash and the late Gerald and Revetta Avi. The bride to be is a graduate of Kirkwood High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a B.A. degree in textile and apparel management. She is currently an assistant buyer for Dillards. Her fiance is a graduate of Ladue High School and University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a B.A. degree in personal finance. He is currently in real estate and property management. A November wedding is planned.

LEVIN-WEISS

Sarah Levin, daughter of Joan and Paul Levin of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Ben Weiss, son of Sue and Burt Weiss of Clayton, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Edith Meltzer and the late William Meltzer and the late Ruth Levin Epstein and Spencer Levin. He is the grandson of Jerome Weiss and the late Miriam Weiss of Shaker Heights, Ohio and the late Leonard and Betty Dworkin.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Shaker Heights High School and Emory University where she earned a B.D. degree in French and the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University where she earned an M.S.S.A. degree.

She is currently a school-based social worker. Her fiance is a graduate of Clayton High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a bachelors degree in hotel restaurant management. He is currently in records and acquisitions at Litigation Management Inc. An October wedding is planned.

MANELA-LITWACK

Jessica Ann Manela, daughter of Stewart and Amy Manela of Potomac, Md., and Matthew Lewis Litwack, son of Michael and Leslie Litwack of St. Louis, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Saul and Lonia Manela, of Bethesda, Md., and David and Beatrice Dobkin of Palm Beach, Fla., and Bernard Baskin of Oakland, Cal. He is the grandson of the late June and the late Shops Levitz of St. Louis, Mo., and the late Ida and the late Isadore Litwack of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a degree in psychology and Washington University’s George Warren Brown School of Social Work where she earned a masters degree in social work.

She is currently Jewish life coordinator at St. Louis Hillel at Washington University. Her fiance is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a bachelors degree in marketing. He is currently a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Gundaker in the Clayton office. A November wedding is planned.
