SINGERS CELEBRATE 68 YEARS

Clarence and Helen Singer were honored together on April 28, 2007 at Pujols Sports Bar and Grill with a luncheon hosted by their children, Robert (Carolyn) Singer, Linda (Alan) Nueman and grandchildren Derrick (Hanna), Jeremy (Christy), Brandon Nueman and Whitney Singer.

Friends and family celebrated the memorable milestones of Clarence’s 90th birthday and their 68th years of marriage. Wishing them much health, happiness, and many more years of togetherness were the Singer families, Muchnick families, Silbersteins and close friends who attended the happy celebration. Heartfelt thanks to those who attended from out of town.

BLUMENTHALS CELEBRATE 65 YEARS

Betty and Dave Blumenthal recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary by spending a special weekend with their children Ronald (Barbara) Blumenthal, and Marcia (Hesh) Lyons.

Betty Jacobs and Dave Blumenthal started dating during their freshman year at Soldan High School. They were married on June 7, 1942 in St. Louis, where they have lived their entire lives. Betty and Dave have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

PEARLINE-ZADIKOFF

Samantha Pearline, daughter of Rod and Peggy Pearline of St. Louis, Mo., and Adam Zadikoff, son of David and Bev Zadikoff of Highland Park, Ill., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Flo and Edward Bleich and Rita and the late Eugene Pearline.

He is the grandson of Maureen Margolis and the late Cyril and late Tiby and Herzl Zadikoff.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Indiana University. She is currently director of Jewish Studies at Beth Hillel Day School in Valley Village, Cal. Her fiance is a graduate of Indiana University. He is currently product manager at GENI.com, in West Hollywood, Cal.

A July 2008 wedding is planned.
