Jill Cornick Glassman, daughter of Sandy and Bill Glassman of St. Louis, and Joshua Carl Cohen, son of Jane Cohen and the late Jeffrey Cohen of West Caldwell, N.J., have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of the late Elaine and Jerome Glassman of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and the late Barney and Celia Blumenfeld. He is the grandson of Alice Cohen and the late Jules Cohen of Palm Beach, Fla.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of John Burroughs School and the University of Michigan, where she earned a B.A. degree. She is currently director of operations at Camp Mah-Kee-Nac, in Lenox, Mass. Her fiance is a graduate of James Caldwell High School and Arizona State University, where he earned a B.S. degree. He is currently associate director, Camp Mah-Kee-Nac, in Lenox, Mass.
A November wedding is planned.
Nussbaum-Fudemberg
Cara Kahn Nussbaum, daughter of Mrs. Rhoda and Dr. Sam Nussbaum of Clayton, and Scott Jacob Fudemberg, M.D., son of Annette and John Fudemberg of St. Louis, were married May 13, 2006, at Washington University’s Graham Chapel, where Rabbi Susan Talve officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Westwood Country Club. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Henrietta Kahn of Teaneck, N.J. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Milton and Mitzi Reiser of Chesterfield and Harold Fudemberg of Ladue.
The bride’s younger sister, Barrie Kahn Nussbaum, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marni Deutsch, sister of the groom; Jessica Goldberg, cousin of the bride, and Lisa Shipley, cousin of the bride.
The groom chose Justin Spalding, his cousin, as best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Kahn Nussbaum, brother of the bride; Dr. Harvey Reiser, uncle of the groom, and Jeremy Deutsch, brother-in-law of the groom.
The ring bearer was Sam Shipley, nephew of the bride.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Kansas City, Kan.
Cohen-Geller
Rachel Leigh Cohen, daughter of Larry and Jo Ann Cohen of Denver, and Marc Jonathan Geller, son of Allen and Barbara Geller of Ballwin, have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of the late Helen Cohen Schein of Denver and the late Harry and Denie Barg of Waterloo, Iowa.
He is the grandson of the late Adolph and Dorothy Safron of St. Louis and the late Max and Gertrude Geller of Queens, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Rocky Mountain Hebrew Academy High School and Community College of Denver, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She is currently a registered nurse with South Denver Cardiology. Her fianc é is a graduate of Shaker Heights High School in Cleveland and Miami University of Ohio, where he earned a bachelor of science in business degree in economics. He is currently assistant director of the Rocky Mountain Region of BBYO.
A July 2006 wedding is planned.
