CURRY-STEINER

Lauren Calice Curry, daughter of Tim and Barbara Curry of Leawood, Kan., and Nick Steiner, son of Tom and Paula Steiner of Clayton, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late William and Elizabeth Curry of Kiel, Wis. and the late Peter and the late Charlotte Beaulieu of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of Paul and Betty Adams of Freeburg, Ill., and the late Harry and Henrietta Steiner of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Plano Senior High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism-advertising. She is currently Account Executive for Cannonball Advertising Agency. Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and St. Louis University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He is currently Territory Manager with Genzyme Genetics.

A September, 2008 wedding is planned.

BRIMER-ELLIS

Alysa Gail Brimer, daughter of Joan and Terrance Brimer of Chesterfield,and Chad Michael Ellis, son of Karen and Eugene Ellis of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Elaine and Ronald Brimer and Annette and the late Harry Weinberg of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Carlene and the late Ben Ellis and Maxine Coffman and the late Clarence Coffman of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Doctor of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and is currently a pediatric allergy fellow at Washington University. Her fiance is a graduate of Whitfield School and the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University. He is currently vice-president of e &r.

A December, 2008 wedding is planned.

MELNICKS CELEBRATE 64 YEARS

Bill and Edna (Feldman) Melnick celebrated 64 years of wedded bliss on July 7, 2008. Wishing them Mazel Tov and much love are their children Barb and Paul Melnik, Betsy and Bill Hirner, Larry and Karen Melnick, their grandchildren, Michelle and Marc Stone, Julie and Greg Schneiderman, Alison Melnik and fiance Brett Berger, Nicole and John Close, Cydney Hirner, Ross Hirner, Katherine and Hank Woodward, Michael Melnick and great-grandsons Alex and Andrew Schneiderman. Bill and Edna currently reside in Ballwin after many years in Olivette. They are longtime members of United Hebrew Congregation.
