BRIMER-ELLIS

Alysa Gail Brimer, daughter of Terrance and Joan Brimer of Chesterfield, Mo. and Chad Michael Ellis, son of Eugene and Karen Ellis of Chesterfield were married December 27, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in St. Louis, where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Ritz Carlton, St. Louis.

She is the granddaughter of the late Harry and Annette Weinberg and Ronald and Elaine Brimer. He is the grandson of the late Clarence and Maxine Coffman and the late Ben and the late Karleene Ellis.

The bride chose her sister, Jennifer Brimer Sabin, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Ellis Forlizzi, sister of the groom; Stephanie Rubin, cousin of the bride and friends Preetha Balakrishnan, Janice Cohen, Katie Cundiff, Mona Kulkarni, Sheri Lubniewski, Malia May and Lauren Stearns. Cousins of the groom, Sarah and Jessica Shyres, served as flower girls.

The groom chose his friend Preston Amos as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Forlizzi, brother-in-law of the groom; Brian Sabin, brother-in-law of the bride and friends Shane Bruner, Alex Ferrugia, Scott Gelb and Ryan Judy. Ushers were David and Doug Berger, both cousins of the bride, and Eric and Ryan Zucker, both nephews of the groom. The ring bearer was Spencer Rubin, cousin of the bride.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in St. Louis.
