GEER-REBY

Marisa Geer, daughter of Norman and Judy Blum of Cleveland, Ohio, and Alex Matthew Reby, son of Jake and Leslie Reby of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Ben and the late Ida Arnoff of Cleveland and Mort Blum of Boca Raton, Fla. He is the grandson of the late Lewis and the late Neecy Newman of Evansville, Ind., and the late Dr. Jacob and Adele Reby of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Orange High School and Indiana University, where she earned a B.A. degree in Jewish studies and sociology, and Washington University, where she earned an M.S.W. degree in social work. She is currently a social worker at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is currently VP of sales and marketing at IPI Solutions.

An October 2007 wedding is planned.

FISCHER-BEARD

Carrie Elizabeth Fischer, daughter of Margie and Gary Sacks of St. Louis and Ken Fischer of Los Angeles, and Adam Breckenridge Beard, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beard, Jr., of Wilton, Conn., and Charlotesville, Va., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Betty and the late Boris Tureen and the late Henrietta and the late Irv Fischer, all of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late John and the late Elizabeth Beard of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and the late John and the late Jane Hall of Chestnut Hill, Mass.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue High School and the University of Michigan, where she earned a B.A. degree in political science. She is currently director of merchandising at Pottery Barn Kids. Her fianc é is a graduate of Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., where he earned a B.A. degree in political science. He is currently a vice-president of Savvian Advisors, a San Francisco-based investment bank.

An October wedding is planned.

SITRIN-MASON

Emily Claire Sitrin, daughter of Jane and Harold Sitrin of Clayton, and Robert William Mason, son of Eloise and Bob Mason of Phoenix, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and the late Mrs. Harry Rosenbaum and the late Abe and the late Frieda Sitrin. He is the grandson of the late William and Antoinette Good and the late Robert and the late Ruth Ann Mason.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of John Burroughs High School and Duke University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, and Kellogg School of Management, where she earned an MBA degree. She is currently working for the pharmaceutical company Pfizer in New York City as part of the Lipitor team. Her fianc é is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in management and information systems and marketing and the Kellogg School of Management, where he earned an MBA degree. He is currently working for Diageo as a branch manager for Johnnie Walker Scotch.

An October wedding is planned.
