BERGER-NGUYEN

Abby Michelle Berger, daughter of Ellen and Barry Berger of Creve Coeur, and Dr. Tri Minh Nguyen, son of Ngoc-Chau Tran and Dr. Thinh Van Nguyen of Phoenix, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Clara and the late Edward Rubin and Selma and Fred Berger of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Miami University, where she earned a bachelor of science in health and sport studies and a doctorate of physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. She is currently a physical therapist at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.

Her fianc é is a graduate of Bonnabel High School of New Orleans and Tulane University Medical School, where he earned a medical doctor degree. He is currently an interventional cardiologist with Southwest Desert Cardiology in Phoenix. A September, 2009 wedding is planned in Phoenix.

SIGEL-HORWITZ

Julie Elizabeth Sigel, daughter of Mary and Shea Sigel of Creve Coeur, and Joseph Scott Horwitz, son of the late Judye Horwitz of University City and Barry Horwitz of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Lillian and the late Max Sigel of Clayton, and Mary and the late Clayton Willis of Wellington, Kan.

He is the grandson of the late Betty and the late Harold Comensky of Olivette, and the late Jean and the late Joseph Horwitz of University City.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North and Truman State University where she earned a B.S. degree in Psychology. She is currently in Treasury Management at U.S. Bank.

Her fiance is a graduate of Horton Watkins High School. He is currently employed at the JCC Health Club.

A May, 2009 wedding is planned.
