Sidni Dianne Feldman, daughter of Dr. Mark and Beth Feldman (father and step-mother) of Bloomington, Ind. and Troy and Dana Pohlman, and David Michael Weglarz, son of the late Judy Weglarz and Thaddeus and Patricia Weglarz (father and step-mother) of Noblesville, Ind. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Nanette Holtzman of St. Louis and the late Sidney Holtzman and the late Oscar and the late Rosalie Feldman. He is the grandson of the late Tom and the late Francis Herd and the late Casey and the late Melba Weglarz. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Indiana University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently teaching fourth grade at The Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth, Ill. Her fiancé is a graduate of Noblesville High School and Wabash College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English. He is currently a futures trader.

An October, 2010 wedding is planned.

UMANSKY-MINOFF ENGAGEMENT

Alana Debra Umansky, daughter of Peggy and Jay Umansky, and Michael Joshua Minoff, son of Sharon and Ben Minoff, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Rhoda and the late Bernard Cook and Claire Umansky and the late Harry Umansky.

He is the grandson of Brandel Minoff and the late Max Minoff and the late Genieve Rosenberg and Joseph Rosenberg.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she received a bachelor’s of arts in Judaic studies.

Her fianc é is a graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis where he received a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration–accounting. He is currently employed at Correctional Medical Services.

The couple resides in Creve Coeur with their daughter, Yael Eva.

An October 2010 wedding is planned.

HERNANDEZ-SCHOENFELD ENGAGEMENT

Lorena Hernandez, daughter of Carlos and Ana Hernandez of Bogota, Colombia and Dan Schoenfeld, son of Marc and Anne Schoenfeld of Chesterfield have announced their engagement.

He is the grandson of Lillian and the late Sanford Schoenfeld, and the late Sol and Rose Stern.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Florida International University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in international business, and DePaul University of Chicago, where she earned her master’s in business administration. She is currently working for an International Consulting Firm based out of London.

Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Purdue University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He is currently a Senior Engineer for FedEx Corporation in Miami.

An October wedding is planned in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. where the couple resides.

HOCKENBERG-HOLTZMAN ENGAGEMENT

Lori Hockenberg, daughter of Jan and Lou Hockenberg of Des Moines, Iowa and Ryan Holtzman, son of Linda and Sylvan Holtzman of St. Louis have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Bernard and the late Evelyn Kilberg and the late Ben and the late Ester Hockenberg. He is the grandson of Sylvia and the late Sam Holtzman and the late Walter and Edna Morawetz. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Valley High School and the University of Kansas where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting and business administration. She is currently a Sales Associate at Managers Investment Group.

Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Indiana University where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business management and entrepreneurship. He is currently a National Account Executive at C.H. Robinson.

An August, 2010 wedding is planned.
