Erin Marie Lueke, daughter of Theresa Prow of St. Louis and the late Robert Lueke, and Matthew David Lieberman, son of Susan Lieberman of St. Louis and Richard Lieberman of Wildwood, have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Joyce Prow of St. Louis and the late Charles Prow, and the late Shirley and the late Lee Lueke of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Freda and the late William Brafman of Boca Raton, Fla. and the late Sylvia and the late J. William Lieberman of St. Louis and Evelyn Lieberman of St. Louis.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a B.A. degree in retail marketing and merchandising. She is currently a legal assistant. Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a B.A. degree in interdisciplinary studies. He is currently President of Majority Strategies LLC, an advocacy and non-profit fundraising and consulting firm located in the Central West End.
A June, 2010 wedding is planned.
LACHMAN-BERENS ENGAGEMENT
Maxine Lynn Lachman, daughter of Rita and the late Howard Frank Lachman of Maryland Heights, and Shawn Michael Berens, son of Michael and Marie Berens of O’Fallon, Ill. have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Anne Edith Baum and the late Irvin Meer Baum and the late Max Joseph and the late Evelyn Lachman of St. Louis and the late Frances Frieda Bly (and the late Ed Bly) of Tamarac, Fla. (formerly of St. Louis). He is the grandson of Mary and the late Arthur Berens.
The bride-to-be graduated from Pattonville High School in 2000 and is presently attending Meramec Community College pursuing a degree in photography. Her fianc é graduated in 1999 from O’Fallon Township High School and will be graduating in May from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville studying business administration and finance and minoring in political science.
An October, 2010 wedding is planned in Fairview Heights, Ill.
SUGEL-CHERVITZ WEDDING
Keri Lyn Sugel, daughter of Jill and Alan Sugel of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Darren Marc Chervitz, son of Zeta and Jerry Chervitz, of St. Louis were married Oct. 31, 2009 at Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. where the groom’s cousin, Gary Belsky officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the casino.
She is the granddaughter of the late Millie and Bernie Braude and the late Sylvia and Harvey Sugel. He is the grandson of the late Sylvia and Charles Chervitz and the late Evelyn and Ben Zlepper.
The bride chose her sister, Leslie Hirsch, and close friend, Alissa Shafer as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Keri Brooks, Jodi Cohen, Traci Engelman, Dawn Jenks and Ellen Lassman. Noa Yolkut, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl. The groom chose his brother, Chad Chervitz, as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Jacob, Steve Rowley, Kevin Shea, Jason Tilly, Aaron Wilkins, Michael Wolraich, all friends of the groom, and Ari Yolkut, cousin of the groom. Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Manhattan, N.Y.
GOODMAN-RHODES ENGAGEMENT
Alison Beth Goodman, daughter of Susan and Bernard Goodman of Olney, Md. and formerly of St. Louis, and Jason Rhodes, son of Will Rhodes and Stephanie Bagby of Asheville, N.C. have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Edith and the late Fred of Kansas City, Mo. and the late Helen and the late Samuel Goodman of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Birdell Page of Asheville and Evelyn Salin of Dallas, Texas.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Sherwood High in Olney, Md. and Towson University in Maryland, where she earned a bachelor of science degree and Western Carolina University, where she earned a master of education degree in sociology and school counseling. She is currently a school counselor in Asheville.
Her fianc é is a graduate of Hendersonville High School in N.C. and Appalachia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Columbia University Teachers College in New York City, where he earned a master’s degree in English. He is currently an English Teacher in Asheville.
