Amy Rosenfeld, daughter of Sheila and Al Rosenfeld of Creve Coeur, and Brian Tal Harel, son of Sol and Gail Harel of West Hartford, Conn. have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Lena Dworkin and the late Dr. Saul Dworkin and the late Rita and Martin Rosenfeld, all of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Raymond Sr. and Marjorie Gasperini and the late Rabbi Yisroel Dov Brown and Shulamis Brown (nee Cohen) of Connecticut and the late Victor and Corine Harel of Israel.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and Brandeis University, where she earned a B.S. in chemistry. She earned her M.D. degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel and completed a Pediatric Residency at Children’s Mercy Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Following her residency, the bride-to-be completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Children’s Memorial Hospital at Northwestern University Medical Center. She is currently an attending physician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
Her fianc é is a graduate of William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, Conn. and Trinity College where he earned a B.S. in neuroscience. He earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and completed an internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center. Following his internship, he completed a postdoctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He will graduate with a law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz. in December, 2009.
A September, 2010 wedding is planned.
