Lindsay Allison, daughter of Steven and Jeri Allison of Kansas City, Mo., and David Norber, son of Gene and Dyle Norber of Clayton have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Betty and the late Robert Barton of Kansas City, Mo., and Joan and Stanley Allison of Carrolton, Mo.

He is the grandson of Rose Marie and the late Theodore Norber of Creve Coeur, and Ruth and Sylvan Sandler of Clayton.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Winnetonka High School and Central Missouri State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in special education, and Fontbonne University where she earned a master’s degree in education. She is currently a behavior specialist for Special School District. Her fiance is a graduate of Clayton High School and Drake University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication, and Washington University where he earned a master’s degree in mass communication and human resources management. He is currently the marketing and communications manager for Medical West Healthcare Center.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.

Wilensky-Zarkowsky

Chai Wilensky, daughter of Dr. Yankee Wilensky and Chellie Goldwater Wilensky of Chicago, Illinois, and Asher Zarkowsky, son of Alan and Vivian Zarkowsky of St. Louis, Missouri have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Morris and the late Nettie Goldwater and the late Dr. Carl and the late Bessie Wilensky.

He is the grandson of Marian and the late Kurt Walters and the late Nathan and the late Leah Zarkowsky.

The bride to be is a graduate of The Ida Crown Jewish Academy, Boston University, and the University of Minnesota where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is currently a veterinarian in Boston. Her fiance is a graduate of Block Yeshiva High School and Boston University where he earned a degree in finance and management. He is currently a corporate underwriter with the technology group at Hartford Insurance.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.
