Sarah Salvay and Robert Gallardo were married on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, in the courtyard of the Doubletree Hotel in Overland Park, Kan. The couple and their parents conducted the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Craig Salvay of Prairie Village, Kan., and the granddaughter of Gerry and Nathan Salvay of Mission Hills, Kan.; Ida and Malcolm Kessler of Clayton, Mo., and the late Irma Marx Kessler. The bride chose her sister, Rachel Salvay of San Francisco, Cal., as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicci Goldenberg of Henderson, Nev., and Kerry Dillon of Overland Park, Kan., friends of the bride.

The groom is the son of Margie and Trent Wittmayer of Houston, Tex., and the grandson of Jeanette and Harlan Wittmayer of Charles City, Ia., and Margaret and Anthony Gallardo of Gladwin, Mich. Trevor Olson of Mission, Kan., friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Antonio Batrez, Jr., of Houston, Tex., brother of the groom; and Tyler Olson of Overland Park, Kan., friend of the groom. The bride recently received certification in Therapeutic Massage from the Johnson County Community College Center for Business and Technology, and is a massage therapist. The groom works for Bill Davis Roofing Co. of Lenexa, Kan. The couple resides in Overland Park, Kan.
