Bryant-Kamenetzky

Kelly Patrice Bryant, daughter of Jack and Diane Bryant of Merrick, N.Y., and Brian Jay Kamenetzky, son of Phyllis and Stephen Kamenetzky of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Albert and Bertha Bedel of Bellmore, N.Y., and the late Mildred Bryant of Queens, N.Y.

He is the grandson of the late Ben and the late Bernice Lieberman and Marie and the late Adolph Kamenetzky of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Sanford H. Calhoun High School and the University of Central Florida, where she earned a B.A. degree in journalism. She is currently entertainment editor for Teen Magazine. Her fianc é is a graduate of Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day High School and Vanderbilt University, where he earned a B.A. degree in history/political science. He is currently a sportswriter. An April 2007 wedding is planned.

Fouts-Lefton

Jennifer Ann Fouts, daughter of Edra and Stephen Fouts of Norwalk, Iowa, and Scott Ian Lefton, son of Benjamin and Lois Lefton of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Richard and Mary Fouts of Summerfield, Fla., and Duncan and the late Mary Deaver of Albert Lea, Minn. He is the grandson of the late Samuel and the late Sarah Lefton, and the late Isadore and the late Goldie Glazier, all of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Norwalk High School and Drake University, where she earned a B.A. degree in theater performance. She is currently human resource coordinator for Career Group, Inc., in Los Angeles. Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Drake University, where he earned a B.A. degree in theater performance. He is currently director of trial services for the Los Angeles office of Legalink.

A September wedding is planned.

Lincoff-Willmann

Amanda Lincoff, daughter of Richard and Judy Lincoff of Ladue, and Benjamin Jason Willmann, son of Ward Willmann of St. Louis, were married May 13, 2006, at Temple Shaare Emeth, where Rabbi Jeffrey Stiffman officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. She is the granddaughter of the late Carolyn Schwartz Praver and Morton H. Zisk, D.D.S., and the late Escher Lincoff and the late Jeanne Lincoff.

Kate Morgan Lincoff, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Victoria Zimmer and Jacqueline Bodine Lloyd. The groom chose Benton Roman, his cousin, as best man.

Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in St. Louis.

Rabinowitzes celebrate 50 years

Evelyn and Alvan Rabinowitz recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a brunch given by some of their friends. Evelyn Zavodnick and Alvan Rabinowitz were married on Jan. 8, 1956. They have a daughter, Brenda Barbaud and the late Daniel Barbaud; a son, Warren Rabinowitz and Jill, and four grandchildren.

Saltzberg-Klein

Jamie Michelle Saltzberg, daughter of Marlene and Bruce Saltzberg of Northbrook, Ill., and Marc David Klein, son of Ivy and Michael Klein of Chesterfield, were married Nov. 5, 2005 at Four Seasons Resort, Scottsdale, Ariz., where Rabbi Martin Share officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Ironwood Ballroom-Four Seasons Resort. She is the granddaughter of the late Marian Saltzberg and Edward Saltzberg of Northbrook, Ill., and the late Natalie Peiser and the late Donald Peiser.

He is the grandson of Pearl and Stanley Schindler of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Sylvia and Howard Klein of Louisville, Ky.

Lindsay and Dana Saltzberg, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodie Klein, sister of the groom; and Courtney Cohen, cousin of the bride.

Mara Liss, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.

The groom chose Kevin Klein, his brother, as best man. Groomsmen were Shanon Forseter; David Bender; and Jordan Liss, Cameron Liss, and Jonathan Liss, cousins of the bride.

Following a wedding trip to Kona and Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Chicago.

Sandweisses celebrate 50 years

Phyllis and Marvin Sandweiss celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17, 2006. They celebrated in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with their children and grandchildren.

Leidner-Pearcy

Sarah Diane Leidner, daughter of Jay and Carol Leidner of St. Louis, and Ryan Andrew Pearcy, son of Carl and Lucy Pearcy of Harrisonville, Mo., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Arnold and Edith Leidner, William Levinson and the late Ellen Levinson of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Norma Pearcy and the late Ray Pearcy of Houston, Mo., and the late James and Pauline Curry of Bucklin, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High School and Missouri State University, where she earned a B.S. degree in elementary education. She is currently a Sunday and Hebrew School teacher at Temple Israel in Columbus, Ohio. Her fianc é is a graduate of Harrisonville High School and the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he earned a B.S. degree in agricultural systems management. He is currently a Pro-Tech instructor for John Deere in Columbus, Ohio.

A July 2007 wedding is planned.

Tennenbaum-Knowles

Ilene Tennenbaum, daughter of Ronald and Enid Tennenbaum of Frontenac, and John V. Knowles IV, son of Kate and John V. Knowles III of Rock Falls, Ill., were married May 28, 2006 at St. Louis Marriott West, where Rabbi Lynn Goldstein officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the St. Louis Marriott West. She is the granddaughter of Dolores Tennenbaum, the late Meyer Tennenbaum, the late Alice Tennenbaum, the late Irving and Bea Simon.

He is the grandson of Louella Knowles and the late John V. Knowles II. The bride chose Mia Tennenbaum, her sister-in-law, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Williams, sister of the groom, and Julie Tennenbaum, sister of the bride. Iyla Tennenbaum, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. The groom chose Dan Evilsizor as best man. Groomsmen were John Newmark and Bob Timmerberg. Ushers were Matthew Tennenbaum, brother of the bride; Justin Donovan and Dennis Booker.

Following a wedding trip to Disneyworld, the couple resides in St. Louis.

Malozowski-Kieval

Carla Daniela Malozowski, daughter of Dr. Saul Malozowski and Ms. Claudia Yelin of Rockville, Md., and Michael Ya’akov Kieval, son of Ms. Patricia Kieval of Seattle and Prof. Hillel Kieval of University City, and the stepson of Ms. Deborah Katz were married on June 25, 2006, at B’nai Israel Congregation, in Rockville, Md., where Rabbi Philip Kieval (groom’s grandfather); Cantor Robert Kieval (groom’s cousin) and Dr. Gershon Kieval (groom’s uncle) officiated.

She is the granddaughter of the late Natalio and Isabel Yelin of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Maria Malozowski of Bat Yam, Israel and the late Salvador Malozowski.

He is the grandson of Rabbi Philip and Helen Kieval of Rockville and the late Lesner and Betty White of Waban, Mass.

Mitleiders celebrate 60 years

Elly and Bernie Mitleider celebrated their 60th anniversary on July 7, 2006. They are the parents of Stephen Howard of Evanston, Ill., and Alan (Elaine) Stuart of Tampa, Fla. They are the grandparents of Corey Michael and David Frederick. A celebration was held at The Dance in Collinsville.

Wynne-Meyers

Morgan Laura Wynne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Wynne of San Francisco, and Matthew Scott Meyers, son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark D. Meyers of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Mildred and the late Robert W. Wynne of Mercer Island, Wash., the late Annice H. Jacobsen of Kirkland, Wash., and the late Harry W. Jacobsen of Seattle.

He is the grandson of the late Daniel and the late Esther Sabin, the late Raymond J. and the late Min Meyers.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Foothill High School in Pleasanton, Calif., and the University of Washington, where she earned a B.A. degree in communications and history, and Golden Gate University, where she earned a juris doctorate degree in law. She is currently an attorney.

Her fianc é is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, and Golden Gate University, where he earned a juris doctorate in law. He is currently an attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C., as a patent examiner.

Eilbott-Satz

Adrian Denise Eilbott, daughter of Larry and Rachel Eilbott of Chesterfield, and Eric Michael Satz, son of Robert and Linda Satz of Teaneck, N.J., were married May 28, 2006, at United Hebrew Congregation, where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the St. Louis Marriott West. She is the granddaughter of the late David and the late Bertha Miller and the late Garland and the late Florence Eilbott. He is the grandson of Gladys and the late Jack Simon; the late Albert and the late Betty Satz.

The bride chose Carrie Goldfeder as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stefanie Pollack; Melissa Price; and Elizabeth Satz, her sister-in-law. Madeline Satz, her niece, served as flower girl. Christa Fortney served as greeter.

The groom chose Jeffrey Satz, his brother, as best man. Groomsmen were Roy Gore, Mark Holland and Sam Lubin. Ushers were Andrew Goldfeder and Max Levin. The ring bearer was Zachary Satz, nephew.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Dallas.
