PEVNICK-TEMPLE

Kimberly Rae Pevnick, daughter of Ed and Nancy Pevnick of Chesterfield, Mo., and Phillip Cortez Temple, son of Ellis and Joanne Temple of Suffolk, Va., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Norman and Marilyn Liss of Creve Coeur and the late Jack and Sylvia Pevnick of Olivette. He is the grandson of the late James Knighten, Sr. and Ophelia Knighten of Heartford, N.C. and the late E.B. Temple and Pearl Temple of Belvidere N.C.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the American School and is attending The College of the Campus where she is earning an A.A.S. degree in nursing. Her fiance is a graduate of Lakeland High School and is attending the California Institute of the Arts and is earning his bachelor’s degree in fine arts. He is currently employed at Calarts. A June 2009 wedding is planned.

DAVIS-BERGER

Stacy Davis, daughter of Michael and Sandy Davis of Warrensburg, Mo., and Eric Berger, son of Leslie and Judy Berger of Creve Coeur, Mo., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Audsley of Chilhowee, Mo.

He is the grandson of Goldie and the late Paul Goldberg, and the late Meyer Berger and the late Selma Berger Jagust of St. Louis and Herbert Jagust of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a librarian for St. Louis County. Her fiance is a web developer for Efficion. An October wedding is planned.

KLEARMANS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

Leon and Paula Klearman recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 25, 1958 at Congregation Temple Israel in St. Louis. They celebrated with their children Reed and Karen Klearman, Allan Klearman and Ruth and Frank Parrish.
