Meredith Jill Skor, daughter of Elaine and Marc Tenzer and Donald and Kristie Skor of St. Louis, and Joseph Benjamin Berger, son of Ann and Sheldon Berger of Dayton, Ohio, were married Oct. 6, 2007 at The Coronado Ballroom where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky officiated.

A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the The Coronado Ballroom.

She is the granddaughter of Harriet Moscowitz of Dayton, Ohio and Kathleen Skor of Barrington, Ill.

He is the grandson of Frances Hanken of Phoenix, Ariz. The bride chose Sarah Lefton as matron of honor. Lisa Minc was maid of honor.

Terri Bormaster, Lauren Simms, Erika Gimple, Daniele Skor, Michelle Goldsmith and Alana Yavers were bridesmaids. Lauren Gimple, niece of the groom served as flower girl.

The groom chose Bradley Barkin as best man.

Groomsmen were Jay Cox, Michael Grodsky, Andrew Suess, Daniel Dixon, Michael Weichman, Douglas Gimple and Andrew Skor.

Ushers were Brett Pernikoff and Matthew Schiavoni. Joshua Gimple, nephew of the groom served as ring bearer.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Chicago, Ill.

Weiner-Wolchansky

Melissa Weiner, daughter of Marci and Andrew Weiner of Minnetonka, Minn., and Daniel Wolchansky, son of Joan and Dr. Alan Wolchansky of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Kneitel of Sun City West, Ariz., the late Julius Kneitel of Sun City West, Ariz., the late Sunny England of Hagerstown, Md., and the late Samuel Weiner of Hagestown, Md. He is the grandson of the late Yvette and William Rosenberg of Bound Brook, N.J., and the late Frances and Jacob Wolchansky of Shreveport, La. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hopkins High School and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science as well as a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law. She is currently a law clerk in Hennepin County. Her fiance is graduate of Parkway North High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He is currently a business support specialist at Supervalu in Minneapolis, Minn. A December wedding is planned.

Sterneck-Katz

Lisa Michelle Sterneck, daughter of Nancy Jo and Bob Sterneck of Chesterfield, Mo., and Peter Benjamin Katz, son of Arnold and Dr. Elena Katz of Northbrook, Ill., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late Abe and the late Gloria Goldstein, and the late Ed and Ruth Sterneck. He is the grandson of Irene and Alex Frenkel and the late Lev and Ella Katz. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Indiana University where she earned a BA degree in communications and criminal justice and also a graduate of Depaul University where she earned her JD degree. She is currently a transactional healthcare attorney. Her fiance is a graduate of Glenbrook High School and the University of Missouri — Columbia, where he earned a BS degree in personal financial management.

He is currently president of PBK Relations Group. A May, 2009 wedding is planned.
