CATANO-MASSA – PERNIKOFF

Jessica Cata ño-Massa, daughter of Luis Omar Cata ño and Gina Massa of Cali, Colombia and Daniel Morgan Pernikoff, son of Michael and Robin Pernikoff of St. Louis, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Nestor Massa and the late Lucy Lion of Cali, Columbia, and the late Luis Omar Cata ño and Maria Lilia Gileano of Caracas, Venezuela.

He is the grandson of Jeanine Mamroth and the late Mike Mamroth of St. Louis and Irv Pernikoff and the late Regina Pernikoff of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Coligio Americano and the Academy of Professional Drawing where she earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising. She is currently a producer. Her fianc é is a graduate of Parkway Central Sr. High and Rhode Island School of Design where he earned a B.F.A. degree in graphic design. He is currently a freelance motion graphic designer. An October, 2009 wedding is planned.

SHAPIRO-CARDILLO

Stacy Renee Shapiro, daughter of the late Susan Shapiro and Mr. Randy Shapiro of St. Louis and Brian Dominic Cardillo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Cardillo of Stockbridge, Mass., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Jack Kaufman and the late Mrs. Vivian Kaufman of Wheeling, W.V. and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shapiro and St. Louis.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Norma Cardillo and the late Ernest Cardillo of Stockbridge, Mass. and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ten Broeck of Niverville, N.Y. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High and Indiana University where she earned a B.A. degree in Fine Arts and Advertising.

She is currently freelancing in marketing. Her fianc é is a graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School and Indiana University where he earned a B.A. degree in Music Business. He is currently a marketing and booking coordinator at Live Nation. A September, 2009 wedding is planned.

SOBEL-O’HARA

Erica Michella Sobel, daughter of Elaine and Gerald Sobel of St. Louis and Gene Howard O’Hara, son of Cathy and Russell Milby of Petersburg, Ill. were married April 18, 2009 at Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Peters, where Rabbi Jeffrey Stiffman officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Old Hickory Golf Club.

She is the granddaughter of the late Lorainne and the late Sol Katz of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Ralph and the late Eleanor O’Hara of Petersburg, Ill.

The bride chose Angela Crecelius, a close friend, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were her close friends Stephanie Kramer and Laura Schultz and her sister-in-law Rachel Goldstein.

The groom chose Greg Wheeler, a close friend as best man. Groomsmen were his close friends Brian Vogeler and Jason Bange and his brother-in-law, Marc Sobel. Ushers were close friends, Rungsee Suvansri and Jeff Cooper. Their readers were close friends Amy Cooper and Dana Gaby.

Following a wedding trip on a 10-night Southern Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Wentzville.
