CORSON-KAUFMAN

Anya Rachel Corson, daughter of Deborah Zorensky of Clayton, and Marc and Karen Corson of West County, and Todd Michael Kaufman, son of Stuart I. and Judith A. Kaufman of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Jeanne and the late Milton Zorensky and Elaine and the late Sydney Corson, all of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Leonard and the late Minna Kaufman and the late Louis and the late Lillian Price, all of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Tabor Academy and Brandeis University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies. She is currently with the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis and attending L’Ecole Culinaire. Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central and Purdue University. He is currently working as a pilot. A November, 2009 wedding is planned.

SEIDLER-SCHUVAL

Melissa Leigh Seidler, daughter of Alison and Michael Seidler of Creve Coeur, and Matthew Mark Schuval, son of Cindy and Dr. David Schuval of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Selene and Marvin Ganek of Highland Park, Ill., Jeanne Seidler of St. Louis, and the late Marvin Seidler. He is the grandson of Gay Baskin of New York City and the late Philip Baskin, and Harriet and Miles Schuval of Lake Ariel, Pa.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and Bradley University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in social work.

Her fiance is a graduate of MICDS and Indiana University-Kelly School of Business, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting, finance and operations management. A September, 2009 wedding is planned.

HAMMER-IKEN

Michelle Renee Hammer, daughter of Robert L. and Marcia Hammer of Overland Park, Kan., and Corey Michael Iken, son of Barry and Sharon Iken of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late Sam and the late Pauline Remis and the late William (Bill) and the late Jean Hammer. He is the grandson of the late Arthur and the late Sylvia Iken of St. Louis and Dave and Ruth Goodman of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School and the University of Kansas where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree and a master’s in special education. She is currently a high school special education teacher.

Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is currently territory manager for Teton Data Systems. An October, 2009 wedding in Kansas City is planned.
